Autumn Term 2015 - Newsletter 3

6th November 2015

Dear parents/carers,

Mud!

I am sure you have noticed how muddy the children have been getting at lunchtimes now the weather has turned - apologies for all the extra washing you have no doubt had to do. With such a small playground we try to use the garden and field as much as possible. To try to stop them getting quite so muddy, from Monday, children will need wellies if they would like to play in the garden or field at breaktimes. Please feel free to send a pair of waterproof over-trousers to protect their clothes as well. These need to be named and can stay in school.

Please also make sure that children have a proper coat (not a hoodie) in school every day.

Individual School Photos

A reminder that these are next Friday (13th). If you would like photos taken with pre-school or high school children, or even the whole family, you are welcome to go up to the Village Hall at 8.30am.

Victorian Christmas Fayre

As you will know, this is taking place on 28th November at the Middy. The Friends would be very grateful for any donations for the tombola or Christmas hamper. Children will be coming home next week with draw tickets for the fayre, please try to sell these to friends and family and return any stubbs, money and unsold tickets to the school by November 25th

Class Assemblies

These are coming up over the next few weeks, all at 9am in the Village Hall:

Sycamore - 27th November
