Early help

At Wetheringsett Primary School, we understand the importance early intervention, both from the school and from other agencies, to support children and families.

Within school, we can support in several ways, as outlined in the document below.

If external support is needed, the best way to help families get the support they need is through the school completing a Common Assessment Framework (CAF) together with the family. Using a Signs of Safety approach, this helps to identify the strengths in the family as well as areas of need. If help is needed, different agencies can then meet with the family and work with them to put any support in place.

If you have a child at the school and feel that your family would benefit from support, please speak to Annie Hookway, headteacher.
